Should attorney Mike Morgan run for Florida Attorney General?

That was the question on Twitter Tuesday from Morgan's family members -- John Morgan and Matt Morgan of Morgan and Morgan law firm.

John Morgan, Mike Morgan's father posted this on Twitter:

"My son @MikeMorganESQ is thinking of running for FL Attorney General. What do you think?"

Then, Mike's brother Matt tweeted this:

"@MikeMorganESQ for Florida Attorney General? What do you think?"

Mike Morgan did not ask his Twitter followers what they thought.

The family famous for its "For the People" slogan is already supporting a candidate for governor: former Gov. and Morgan and Morgan employee Charlie Crist.

The family is also behind the United For Care campaign to make medical marijuana legal through a constitutional amendment. That's the same amendment current Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is trying to get blocked from the ballot. She claims it opens the door to wholesale marijuana usage in Florida. That issue is currently before the Florida Supreme Court.

Currently, there are two Democrats listed as candidates on the Florida Division of Elections website.  They are Florida House Minority Leader Rep. Perry Thurston Jr. from Fort Lauderdale and former Florida DCF Secretary George Sheldon.
