In a story you'll see only on News 13, a minor was put on the wrong plane at Orlando Sanford International Airport.

Christina Johnson dropped her 15-year-old son Ethan off Friday at the Seminole County airport to fly to Springfield, Ill. Instead, he ended up in northwest Arkansas.

Johnson said she dropped the teen off at gate 16 to board Allegiant Air flight 766, but that wasn’t the plane he got on.

The airline said it was a processing error, but Johnson isn’t happy.

"I'm very upset,” Johnson said. “I was, you know, planning on using this for further, you know, trips for my stepson.  And I'm astonished at how they can misplace and put him into a different state."

"It's bullcrap because I haven't seen my mom in months and I was real excited and had my whole family waiting for me and I'm not gonna go out until Sunday," Ethan said Friday night. "The least they could do was try getting me a flight tomorrow."

Ethan arrived back in Sanford late Friday night. The airline offered to fly Johnson’s son to Belleville, Ill. near Springfield on Sunday.
