A 1-year-old boy has been found safe in Orange County after he was reportedly abducted earlier Sunday morning.

Orange County deputies said Jayden Martinez was found in good health around 12:20 p.m. when he was found with his father. An Amber Alert was issued for the child around 10 a.m.

Deputies said Martinez’s father, Carlos Martinez, took the boy before 4 a.m. from a home on Summer Street near E. Cypress Street. The boy was inside the home with his mother and another person, who is not being identified.

Jeff Williamson, a spokesman with the sheriff's office, said there were signs of forced entry at the home.

Over 100 law enforcement officers helped in the search for Jayden.

“This has been quite the investigation, with probably somewhere in the area of 30 investigators, probably about 40 patrol units, specialty units, K-9, chase. So, probably about 100 law enforcement officers out looking for young Jayden. So, it’s just, it’s a good ending. The how’s and why’s are going to be coming as soon as we can get more details," Williamson said.

Investigators are looking at what, if any charges, will be filed against Carlos Martinez.
