Attorneys for George Zimmerman are firing back at Trayvon Martin’s parents’ attorney’s efforts to keep a settlement they received confidential.

In a motion filed today, the defense said it should be revealed because the settlement could influence Trayvon's parents' testimony at the trial slated to start in June.

Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin's attorney, Benjamin Crump, filed the suit against the Retreat at Twin Lakes subdivision. The details of the settlement were kept private.

Martin was fatally shot by then-neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman during a confrontation in the subdivision a year ago. Zimmerman pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder, claiming self-defense.
