Sinclair’s body was found early Thursday along a wooded area near Rio Grand Avenue in the Oak Ridge Area and investigators are saying her death is a homicide.

Neighbors said they saw a black sedan approach the area before four shots were fired.

Taylor said it’s a tragedy when something like happens, an event the brings an already tight-knit community even closer.

“As gay people, lesbians and transgenders a lot of times we are outcast from our families so we have the blessing of being able to choose who we call family,” Taylor said. “I can honestly say she was one of these most sweetest, kind and humble people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.”
