Ormond Beach police are investigating a deadly crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
It happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday near South Nova Road and Moreland Boulevard.
Investigators said a Toyota driven by Barbara L. Layne turned in front of a motorcycle driven by Donald E. Boone, which caused the bike to run into the car.
Boone and his passenger, 64-year-old Carol Boone, were thrown off the motorcycle and seriously injured.
A trauma alert was initiated for Carol Boone. She was transported to Halifax Hospital where she was later died.
