State House Democrats are together Monday for a highly unusual vote.

They're deciding whether to oust their leader, Representative Mark Pafford (D-West Palm Beach).

As the incoming minority leader, Pafford oversaw the fundraising and strategy for the Democrats' disastrous campaign cycle that saw the party lose six seats in the 2014 midterm election.

Daytona Beach Representative Dwayne Taylor (D-Daytona Beach) launched a bid to replace Pafford as minority leader. Taylor says he has the votes to win and is comparing Pafford to a losing football coach who refuses to accept criticism and adjust his strategy.
