After a dry, clear Christmas Day in Central Florida, lows Thursday night into Friday morning will feel much cooler, but those temperatures will actually be around the average for this time of year.

Most areas will drop to near 50, but they won't stay there too long after sunrise at 7:16 a.m. Temperatures will warm into the 60s Friday morning and top out in the mid-70s by the afternoon.

Some dense fog is expected to form Friday night as we go into the weekend.

Temperatures will continue to warm through the final weekend of 2014 to near 80 on both Saturday and Sunday.  Meanwhile, partly sunny skies will be the rule, with humidity coming up a bit. Only a few isolated showers will continue to be possible, even in the middle of next week, with no big pushes of rain expected anytime soon.

We will remain with highs near 80 and lows in the mid- to low 60s through the end of the year.

At this time, the first day of 2015 will cool down a bit, with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-50s under a partly cloudy sky.
