The "Warning Shot Bill" passed both the Florida House and Senate with bi-partisan support, but is now facing new opposition.

The First Amendment Foundation, a government watchdog group, is writing Governor Scott to ask that he veto the bill because of a provision tucked into dealing with the controversial "Stand Your Ground" law.

The bill says that people who use "Stand Your Ground" as a defense in court are ultimately acquitted and can have their records expunged, and the First Amendment Foundation takes issue with that.

The foundation argues that with a law this controversial, the public ought to have the right to know how it's being applied.

No word yet from Governor Scott if he'll sign or veto the bill.
