A new crash report from Florida Highway Patrol outlines exactly what happened the day a vehicle crashed into a KinderCare day care center, killing one child and injured 13 other children and one adult.

Robert Corchado is facing charges for hitting the vehicle that crashed into the day care on North Goldenrod Road and fleeing the area. He remains in jail.

The report said Corchado's Dodge Durango struck a Toyota Solara. The Solara was slowing to turn into the parking lot for the day care center.

A diagram included in the crash report shows how the car hopped the curve, went through the parking lot, jumped the sidewalk and went through the wall of the day care, drove through one room, and then another before stopping.

The report also shows three children were struck by the car as it crashed into the playroom. Lily Quintus was one of those children, and she was killed in the crash. Two other children were critically hurt.

Eleven other children and one adult were all struck by debris from the crash.
