An Osceola County Sheriff's deputy is out of jail following his arrest for bribery.

Thirty-three-year-old Marc John Jordanides was arrested Thursday on one count of bribery of or by public servant by Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents.

Investigators believe Jordanides used the influence of his position to solicit nude photographs from a female.  In exchange, he agreed to help have her arrest charges dropped.

When investigators questioned Jordanides last month, they said he told them the request for a naked picture was personal.

However, they said the following text message exchange from December 2011 proves otherwise:

Jordanides: Send me a pic of ur (expletive)

Woman: Why do u want 1

Jordanides: Just send it, ill give u what u want

Woman: I don’t want nothing but my mom’s jewelry back

Woman: I need the door in back but I need my charges dropped off my life can go that’s all I want

Woman: jewelry back* not door in back

Jordanides: Then send a pic and I will make ir happen

The report goes on to say Jordanides explained that “make it happen” meant “I’ll help you out,” and that he does not have control over whether charges get dropped.

But according to the arrest report, Jordanides gave the alleged victim his phone number and told her to text him when she got out jail so he could take her “out to eat or ride around Osceola County” to try and get the jewelry back.

The woman also told investigators the then-deputy stopped back by her house after the text message exchange and deleted the text messages off her phone.

Jordanides left Osceola County Jail after posting $10,000 bond. This case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney 9th Judicial Circuit.

The Sheriff's Office said they first learned of the FDLE investigation in October.

“He was immediately removed from duty when we were notified by FDLE that they were conducting a criminal investigation. We currently have an internal investigation that we are conducting and after that point we will be able to comment,” explained Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain.

Jordanides resigned Thursday before he was arrested by FDLE.
