James Cameron, the director behind 'Avatar' said Avatar Land will be so amazing, he is sad it's in Florida.

The Academy Award-winning director talked a bit about the new land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom during a Reddit AMA last week.

Cameron praised Disney's design for the new land, mentioning real floating mountains and two state-of-the-art rides, though he wouldn't say what those rides would be.

"But from what I've seen so far, it will be amazing," Cameron said. "I will be sad it's in Florida, because I won't be able to go a lot to it."

During the D-23 Expo in Japan last October, Disney gave some more details.

Disney said the land will have a flying simulator ride that lets guests "soar into the sky riding a Banshee."

Disney said as part of a larger park expansion, a new nighttime show with live music and floating lanterns will be added.

Ground was broken on Avatar Land in January.
