A new poll shows that Florida voters aren't pleased with either Republican Gov. Rick Scott or former Gov. Charlie Crist, who is trying to win his job back.

A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday shows that Republican-turned-Democrat Crist has a slight lead over Scott -- unless you add Libertarian Adrian Wyllie in the mix.

Wyllie says more and more voters are fed up with Republicans and Democrats.

"That's really what I think is the trend in American politicis and Florida politics," said Wyllie. "People are disenfranchised with Repulbicvans and Democrats, they're tired of having to hold their nose and vote for the lesser evil and our mission is to let popel know they have a choice, they don't have to vote for the lesser evil."

In a head-to-head matchup, Crist leads Scott 45 to 40 percent.

"I think when it comes to election day, people don't want to waste their vote," said Crist. "I think they're gonna vote for someone who's gonna win and who cares for them and that's why I think we're gonna win."

But when Wyllie was added to the poll, he received 9 percent support and drew more voters away from Crist than Scott, making the race a statistical tie.

In either scenario, voters said they don't trust Scott or Crist.

Only 39 percent of those polled say they thought Crist is honest, and only 40 percent said Scott is.

"You should talk to Charlie about polls, he likes polls, he does exactly what they say," said Scott. "Me, I'm here to to talk about getting more jobs in Florida."

Democrat Nan Rich, meanwhile, who is trying to wrest the nomination from Crist, fares worse in a match-up with Gov. Scott. Scott would lead in that race, 41 percent to 34 percent.

Quinnipiac did not ask voters if they would consider Nan Rich over Charlie Crist.
