Orange County Commissioners are giving voters a chance to decide if constitutional officers should be nonpartisan races and term-limited.

Those offices include the sheriff, supervisor of elections, clerk of courts, comptroller, tax collector and property appraiser.

Both the term limit issue and the nonpartisan issue were on the Nov. 4 ballot as separate questions until Tuesday when the commission decided to combine the two issues.

It will now ask voters to decide if constitutional officers should be chosen in nonpartisan election and limiting their time in office to four 4-year terms.
