Longtime Orange County school board member Joie Cadle will keep her seat, after a recount confirmed her re-election.
Cadle beat Joshua Katz by 67 votes on election night, 7,344 to 7,252.
The recounty confirmed that Cadle will hold on to the District 1 school board seat.
A second recount in Orange County will lead to a runoff.
No one got a majority of votes in the Orange County Commission district 2 race.
Bryan Nelson received a little more than 48-percent of the vote. After the recount, Alvin Moore has 36 more votes than Patricia Rumph.
That slim margin means Moore will go on to face Nelson in November's runoff.
