Attorneys for a 13-year-old accused of bullying a classmate in Polk County have filed a notice saying they plan to sue Sheriff Grady Judd, and his office.

The notice claims Sheriff Judd and his office did not have probable cause to arrest the girl.

The teen was one of two girls arrested in connection with the suicide of 12-year-old Rebecca Sedwick in 2013.

As you may remember, the State Attorney's Office eventually decided not to file charges.

But attorneys for the girl now say the sheriff's office caused her severe emotional and psychological trauma.

Sheriff Judd says he stands by his decision to arrest the girls and plans to fight the suit.
