After 15 years, the NASCAR Sports Grille at Universal Orlando CityWalk is closing its doors for good.

We called the restaurant's main line, and an employee confirmed that the last business day is Friday, Oct. 31.

We also reached out to Universal Orlando Resort for more details. We wanted to know what's replacing it: Another restaurant, perhaps, or a totally different kind of venue or attraction?

Here's the response from a spokesperson:

NASCAR Sports Grille has been an excellent concept and partner – and a big part of helping Universal CityWalk grow and establish itself as a great entertainment destination. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to bring new experiences to CityWalk. We are doing exciting things at CityWalk and we can’t wait to share the great things to come.

Over the last year, guests have seen major changes at CityWalk, which opened in 1999. Universal announced last December that eight new venues would be coming by this summer, part of the biggest expansion ever in CityWalk's now 15-year history.

New experiences include Antojito's Authentic Mexican Food, Vivo Italian Restaurant, Hot Dog Hall of Fame, Bread Box, and others. Cowfish — think burger-sushi fusion — is still in construction.

So, NASCAR fans, you have one more month to snap some final pictures ever of the themed restaurant.
