Gov. Rick Scott has signed the death warrant for Jerry Correll, who was convicted of killing four people in Orange County nearly 30 years ago.

Officials said Correll, 59, had a violent and abusive relationship with his ex-wife.

Correll stabbed his ex-wife, his wife's mother, her sister and their 5-year-old daughter to death on June 30, 1985.

He was found guilty in February 1986 of four counts of first-degree murder.

Correll's execution date has been set for Feb. 26.
