The National Retail Federation says Halloween spending will be down this year by half a billion dollars due to financial concerns. That’s why Goodwill Manasota has put together hundreds of Halloween costumes for under $20.
Five-year-old Belen Hernandez came to Goodwill Manasota with her mother and little brother to find her Halloween costume. Belen knew exactly who she wanted to be: Elsa from Frozen.
“I like the blue dress she had,” said Belen.
Goodwill staff took Belen to their huge selection of princess costumes to find the right one, at the price of around $10.00 for an entire outfit.
Ana Aguilar, Belen’s mother said with two little kids, buying expensive costumes was not in her budget. So Goodwill prices make Halloween possible for her family.
“It is very non-expensive. And it’s in our budget and we can find really good things here,” Says Ana Aguilar.
From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday until Halloween, Goodwill stores in Manatee County will have employees in costumes ready to help you find all your Halloween decorations and outfits.
