Space launch rocket booster test fires in Utah

NASA completed its first successful test of the Space Launch System rocket booster.

For two minutes - the rocket fired away at a test facility in Utah Wednesday.

Temperatures inside the rocket during the test were about half what they are on the surface of the Sun.

The SLS rocket is what the space program will use to propel NASA's Orion spacecraft to the moon and eventually to Mars.
