A suspect is in custody, charged with stabbing a man and his daughter in Brevard County late Monday night.
Cocoa Beach police said the stabbings happened around 11 p.m. at the Windward West Condominiums at North Banana River Boulevard and South Shepard Drive.
John Frass, 61, and 24-year-old Katherine Frass, both of Cocoa Beach, remain hospitalized.
Shortly after the stabbings, police were able to make an arrest, due in part to the help of a local photographer. The photographer, who works with News 13, was given a description of the suspect by police. She alerted them when she spotted the suspect walking around.
Police charged 23-year-old Justin Noelker of Richmond, Indiana with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of resisting an officer.
He is currently in custody at the Brevard County Jail.
