The Florida Department of Health is now giving an Orange County middle school a satisfactory rating following an extensive rodent roundup.

Health officials received a complaint earlier this week that rats were seen running in and around the school's kitchen.

Based on the reports, the school's kitchen received an unsatisfactory rating.

According to a report released Thursday, school officials hired an exterminator to clean the space above and around the kitchen area on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

"No rodents observed at time of inspection," the Department of Health report states. "If rodent droppings or sightings are observed, pest control must be notified immediately."

Health officials will continue with random inspections, the report states.
