Better video shows a Falcon 9 rocket's hard landing on a barge after its launch from the Space Coast Tuesday, including the aftermath.
The Falcon 9 rocket carried a Dragon capsule into orbit Tuesday with food, equipment, science experiments and the first espresso machine in space, courtesy of Italy's space program.
But the first stage of the rocket had its own mission, to land on a floating barge off the Florida coast and become the first reusable rocket.
SpaceX founder Elon Musk tweeted updates on the rocket:
Looks like Falcon landed fine, but excess lateral velocity caused it to tip over post landing

Musk tweeted new video Wednesday of the landing, which also showed the rocket tip over, flames blasting out.
This is the second time SpaceX has tried to land the rocket. The first time it crashed on the barge.
Musk joked on Twitter:
If this works, I'm treating myself to a volcano lair. It's time.
