A transport vehicle loaded with supplies that was launched last week by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) arrived at the International Space Station Monday.

Expedition 44 Flight Engineer Kimiya Yui of JAXA successfully captured the Kounotori 5 H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV-5) at 6:28 a.m. EDT.

The vehicle was berthed to the ISS a couple of hours later.

Kounotori transported more than 4.5 tons of supplies, including water, spare parts and experiment hardware for the six-person space station crew.
