United Launch Alliance is delaying the next Atlas V rocket launch next week over a technical issue.

ULA announced over Twitter Tuesday that the GPS 2F-12 mission would be pushed back at least a day. The launch was supposed to happen Wednesday next week. Now launch managers say it will happen no earlier than Thursday next week.

ULA is not setting the launch window until it has a firm date.

Launch managers say they want to go over concerns about electrical connectors on the Atlas V rocket's booster.

The Atlas V will be carrying a GPS satellite for the U.S. Air Force into orbit. The launch is ULA's first of 2016.
