The ragged low pressure system in the southwest Caribbean has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Otto, the 15th named storm of the 2016 Atlantic hurricane season.

Otto is packing maximum sustained winds of about 60 mph and is stationary as of the 11 p.m. update.

Slow strengthening is forecast. It may even reach hurricane strength just before landfall.

It's expected to drift slowly west in the next few days and bring some heavy rain to Central America.

It is no threat to Florida or the United States.

The Atlantic hurricane season ends Nov. 30.
