The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up the Drug Enforcement Administration and other law enforcement agencies for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents will have the chance to turn in prescription drugs at 11 locations:

  • Altamonte Springs Police Department- ASPD Mall COPS Center, lower level between JC Penney and Macy’s, 451 E. Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs 

  • Casselberry Police Department – 4195 S. U.S. Highway 17-92, Casselberry 

  • Lake Mary Police Department – 165 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Lake Mary 

  • Longwood Police Department – 235 W. Church Ave., Longwood 

  • Oviedo Police Department – 400 Alexandria Blvd., Oviedo 

  • Sanford Police Department – 815 Historic Goldsboro Blvd., Sanford 

  • Winter Springs Police Department – 300 N. Moss Rd., Winter Springs 

  • Seminole County Sheriff’s Office 
    100 Bush Blvd., Sanford 
    1225 Broadway St., Oviedo 
    805 Primera Blvd., Lake Mary 
    120 W. Pineview St., Altamonte Springs

The Sheriff’s Office says no questions will be asked and the service is free.  Disposing of unwanted medications properly helps eliminate the possibility of abuse and misuse.
