The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles unveiled the newest version of its “Arrive Alive” license plate Tuesday.

  • 'Arrive Alive' plates on FHP vehicles will promote safety
  • Campaign dates back to 1970

The new license plates will be featured on the front of Florida Highway Patrol vehicles.

The DHSMV has brought the plates back as a reminder to motorists to drive safely and arrive alive.

The “Arrive Alive” front license plates are part of the department’s “Arrive Alive” campaign, which dates back to 1970. FHP is promoting the campaign to reduce traffic-related deaths and injuries and promote seat belt use and safe speeds.
