Mac n' Cheese lovers rejoice! This one-day-only family-friendly event features a macaroni-and-cheese competition between local restaurants, chefs and caterers. Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game World Championships

Here's one for the CCG (collectible card game) lover in your life. Yu-Gi-Oh! duelists from all the over the world will bring their cards and decks to the Orange County Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday to compete for the title of world champion. Although only the 34 invited competitors can take part in the championship, the event is open to the public. Attendees can simply watch the championship duels or bring their own decks and participate in the many free games and activities going on in the hall. Sanford Art Walk

This month's Sanford Art Walk should be especially eye-catching. In conjunction with Historic Sanford Welcome Center’s “Open Season” theme this month, the art show is open to any form of art, from sculpture to painting and photography. The art show is juried -- judges will determine the winners for most of the prizes, but attendees can vote for their favorite pieces in the "People's Choice" award catagory. Admission is free. Tampa Bay Tech Jam

TechStart Tampa Bay’s annual “Party with a Purpose” on Friday night will feature a Battle of the Tech Bands, food, drinks, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and more. Funds raised will support TechStart Tampa Bay’s efforts to foster opportunities in technology to at-risk youth. Tickets are $40, $85 for VIP access. Beer Fest

If craft beer is your thing, make plans to spend a little time at the Glazer Children’s Museum Saturday. Music in the Marly series

Two world-renowned virtuoso performers — pianist Rachel Kudo and trumpeter/composer Brandon Ridenour — will put on a Sunday afternoon concert in the Marly Room at the Museum of Fine Arts as part of the museum’s ongoing summer concert series.
