Here’s something to put a smile on your face. Today is National Dog Day.
Yes, a whole day devoted to celebrating your favorite canine friend.
It was created in 2004 by animal advocate Collen Paige as a way of recognizing the number of dogs that need to be rescued and honoring dogs that keep us safe each day.
Paige also founded National Puppy Day and National Cat Day.
