Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte returned to his old stomping grounds for yet one more swim meet, but it was all for a charitable cause.

Lochte’s first swim match since "Dancing wth the Stars" paired the Olympian with young swimmers, like Elizabeth Meyer and others.

The race benefited the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA and the Stewart-Marchman Act Foundation.

Touted as the Rematch after Rio, the gold medalist went up against another hometown favorite, Charley Lydecker, a 14-time national lifeguard champion, with local swimmers on both sides.

And the race went down to the wire.

Lochte’s team fell behind, but the Olympian swam past Lydecker to win.

Before the race, Lochte’s father revealed new information has surfaced in the investigation surrounding Lochte’s accounts of a hold up in Rio de Janeiro.

“The three minutes of missing video, it’s been found. It shows that the security guards did have guns pointed to my son’s chest and money was extracted,” said Stephen Lochte.

However, does the new information vindicate Lochte?

Lochte says even though this new information has surfaced, he will not try to have the 10-month ban from the sport lifted.

“Everything that happened I said, everything that’s happened. And I’m just trying to move on, move forward. And now that, I’m putting that all behind me. And I’m on 'Dancing with the Stars,'” said Lochte.

Meyer says most all swimmers know about the controversy in Rio, but summed up how fellow swimmers feel about swimming alongside Lochte.

“We don’t really care about that, just that he’s a really big swimmer,” said Elizabeth Meyer.
