SpaceX officials said the Falcon 9 rocket burst into flames during a fill operation, but the cause of the explosion is still a mystery.
Musk started tweeting early this morning that this is “turning out to be the most difficult and complex failure we have ever had in 14 years.”

So he is asking for help from NASA, the FAA and others to send in any recordings of the event. More specifically, Musk said, he’s trying to understand a quieter bang that happens just before the fireball goes off.
That sound may come from the rocket or something else, he added.
There is another part of this video that many people have noticed.
The U.S. Launch Report Youtube video of the explosion is full of commenters questioning a small object that moves across the screen right before the explosion.
We slowed down the video so you can see it.
Was it a bird, a bug, or something else? There are many theories out there, however Musk never mentions the object in his tweets. He only mentioned that he’s concerned about that sound.
