Two men have been arrested in connection to a cockfighting preparation site in Apopka, authorities said.

Investigators say a tip led them to a house where they uncovered more than 200 roosters.

Jose Antonio Perez-Sanchez, 69, and Edy Domingo Dejesus Ramos, 49, face multiple charges.

Officers did not find evidence of cockfighting on the property, they did find evidence that the birds were being prepared the fighting.

Cockfighting is illegal in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. However, it is only a felony in 37 states and D.C.
