The memorial for slain Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton that sits in front of the Orlando Police Department's headquarters was vandalized.

Clayton's agency-issued SUV was riddled with a Sharpie marker and flowers at the memorial were kicked over, police said.

The vandalism took place sometime Friday, police said.
The agency has since cleaned up most of the cruiser and the memorial area.
Clayton was gunned down Jan. 9 outside of a Wal-Mart while attempting to make contact with suspected murderer Markeith Loyd. Loyd has since been charged in Clayton's death.
