Temperatures will get down into the middle to lower 60s tonight.

On Sunday, we are still forecasting strong to severe storms to form to our northeast, which will sweep southwest through Central Florida.

The main threat will be straight-line damage wind potential between 60 and 80 mph. Although a few storms will be possible from noon to 3 p.m., it seems the timing for a line of storms is most likely from 3 to 9 p.m., leaving the Brevard County coast by 10 to 11 p.m. These storms will be moving rapidly around 30 to 50 mph.

The forecast storm threat for Sunday as of Saturday night.

There also is a slight risk for isolated tornados and 1-inch hail as cold air aloft rushes into the state. Individual storms could produce 1 to 3 inches of rain in spots.

Temperatures will start off in the 60s early, then warm into the mid to low 80s by afternoon as our wind increases from the southwest, gusting between 20 to 25 mph.

Monday will be quite a bit cooler but close to normal for this time of year. Highs Monday will be near 70 while lows Monday night get down into the 40s.

The surf forecast is poor for Sunday, and there is a potential for strong to severe storms. Wave heights will be increasing to between 2 to 4 feet with a moderate rip current threat. Wind will be increasing from the south southwest and gust between 20 to 25 mph, too.
