Cooler and drier air sticks around for Tuesday. Lets get a check of the forecast:

  • Plenty of sunshine Tuesday, highs in low 70s
  • Next front moves in Thursday
  • Cooler weather in store for weekend

We certainly felt the impacts from Sunday’s cold front Monday afternoon. Winds were strong out of the northwest and were able to pull in some cooler air. Highs reached only around 70 degrees under a mix of sun and clouds.

We’ll gradually warm up over the next couple of days, but we’re looking at an even bigger cool down by the end of the week.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Winds will back off slightly, but will still be rather breezy heading into Tuesday morning. Temperatures will drop to around 50 degrees, which is average for this time of year.

Expect plenty of sunshine for Tuesday with seasonable temperatures in the low 70s. We’ll continue to warm back up by mid-week with highs in the upper 70s.

This warm up will be short-lived, though. We have another front set to move through on Thursday.

There will only be a slight chance for a few showers, but temperatures will get knocked back into the mid-60s for Friday and continue through the weekend. Another system will bring a higher chance for rain Sunday.

Winds will not be as strong Tuesday, but poor ocean conditions stick around. We have a moderate rip current risk and a Small Craft Advisory.
