In anticipation of the Martin Luther King Parade, the city released the names of streets that will be closed for Saturday, Jan. 14.

Orlando quickly established a celebration for the civil rights leader way back in the 1980s.

"The national holiday commemorating the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. began in 1986. In anticipation of the new holiday, Orlando City Commissioner Mable Butler urged the City of Orlando to formally establish a committee to recognize and honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the national King Holiday," according to a passage on the city's website.

Below is the map of the street closures.
