The incident took place inside of the “Villas at Island Club” on Knightsbridge Court, in the Four Corners area. These are vacation home rentals, but people live there as well. The community is gated and a code is needed to get inside.
Deputies say when they arrived they met with Scott Waddell, 45, and found Nicholas Corvino, 30, dead inside the home from gunshot wounds.

Detectives say Waddell was not cooperating with them, but the investigation led to Waddell's arrest for first-degree murder. They say Waddell and Corvino were roommates.
“It is an isolated incident and detectives are not actively looking for any other persons,” said spokesperson Jacob Ruiz with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies didn’t receive a 911 call but were alerted by the burglary alarm system installed in the home.
