Spotty showers have persisted in some areas this evening and a few showers will remain possible overnight in coastal areas.

The bigger story will likely be areas of fog that will develop towards daybreak, especially in inland areas. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 70s.
Better rain chances are on the way for Monday. A cold front will push toward Central Florida, increasing moisture ahead of it and bringing scattered showers and storms. Highs for Monday will be in the mid to upper 80s.
The front will move in on Tuesday, bringing clouds and more showers and storms. Highs for Tuesday will be in the low 80s.

Drier air will attempt to move in Wednesday, but scattered showers will likely persist. The best chance for activity will be south of Orlando. Highs for Wednesday will be in the mid 80s with strong northeasterly winds.
More sunshine is expected to close the work week with a coastal shower possible. Highs will hold in the mid 80s with gusty winds.
Rain chances will likely increase heading into next weekend.
In the tropics, we continue to watch Hurricane Ophelia in the North Atlantic. Ophelia will continue to transition into a post-tropical system and will impact Ireland and Great Britain Monday and Tuesday.
Elsewhere, a tropical wave near Puerto Rico still has a medium chance of development. It is expected to turn north and eventually head out to sea.
