One person was killed and two others were injured when a boat and personal watercraft collided in Windermere on Sunday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened just before 8 p.m. on Lake Palmer.

Larry Marin, 37, the operator of the personal watercraft, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died. Glorimar Correa, 40, was a passenger on the watercraft. She was taken to ORMC with serious injuries.

The operator of the boat, identified as 39-year-old William Bryant III, was also taken ORMC with serious injuries.

Investigators say the force of the collision caused the personal watercraft to sink.
