It was a partly sunny Thursday across the region, with highs in the low to mid-70s.

Skies will continue to clear Thursday evening with temps falling into the 60s. Expect mostly clear skies overnight with lows in the mid to upper 50s. Some areas in Marion County will fall into the 40s.

Friday still looks great across Central Florida. Plenty of sunshine will bathe the region, with just a few clouds possible. Highs for Friday will be in the upper 70s.

The pleasant weather will continue into Saturday. We will again see mostly sunny skies throughout the day with temps in the low 80s.

Our next cold front will move in on Sunday, bringing breezy conditions and an increase in rain chances. Right now, rain chances will be around 30 percent, so many areas will likely stay dry. Highs for Sunday will be in the upper 70s.

Cooler air moves in behind the front to start next week, with temps in the mid to upper 70s.

There is some uncertainty about our next storm system approaching the area for Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day. Right now, expect plenty of clouds both days with some scattered showers. Highs both days will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Early indications are the unsettled weather may linger into Black Friday and Saturday.

In the tropics, we are watching a new area of development in the western Caribbean. The system is very disorganized and has a low chance of development.

Hurricane season ends on Nov. 30.

A Small Craft Caution will be posted for Friday, with winds 10-15 knots and seas 4-5 feet. Surfers will find poor-to-fair conditions with a easterly swell. The rip current threat will be moderate on Friday.
