The skies will be mostly cloudy and we will be breezy to windy overnight with a 70 percent chance of showers.

As we head into the day on Thursday, we will go from lows in the lower 60s to highs near 80 under mostly cloudy skies and a 60 percent chance of showers and a few storms.

The rain will slowly move off into the Atlantic late Thursday and into Friday. The skies will clear and we will see highs back in the lower 80s Friday afternoon. 

Quiet weather sticks around this weekend even as a cold front moves through Saturday night. We will see lots of sun and highs in the low 80s on Saturday.

As the cold front slips quietly through on Saturday night our highs drop back into the 70s with lows in the 50s.

The boating forecast looks ugly for the next 2 days as that low moves across the area. Small Craft Advisories near shore and Gale Watches for Volusia County. Seas will be building to 7-11 feet. The winds will be northeast at 25-30 knots. There will be a wave period of 8 seconds.

It will be very rough on the intracoastal. Water temperatures are 69 at Daytona Beach and 71 at Cocoa Beach.
