The Unno Boutique Hotel in Kissimmee, which was ravaged by an arson fire that displaced 250 people in December, has reopened for business and is taking reservations.

The hotel says it has passed all of its inspections and everything is up to code. The hotel owners did a number of things to get everything in order, such as: paint, new exit signs, checked up on alarms and maintenance of the actual structure, among other things.

Management said there are plans to rebuild the back part of the hotel, which was heavily damaged by the fire that happened two days before Christmas. The hotel is waiting on a response from insurance for that.

About half of Unno Boutique Hotel on U.S. 192 was lost to damage from the fire, which was ruled arson. The blaze forced out 250 people, some of whom were living there.

Officials are still looking for a person of interest caught on camera, Kevin Stewart, who they said may have information on how the fire started.
