"Missing child Alena Ward was located in good health with her father. We want to thank everyone for the attention to the missing child alert," the sheriff's office tweeted Thursday morning.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office originally stated that Alena Ward was not in danger. Her father, Dontte Ward, was with the baby and authorities are investigating a custody issue.

The infant had been last seen in the area of the 5000th block of Images Circle in Kissimmee.

She was wearing a pink hoodie with a white flower pattern, white pants and Jordan shoes.

The 23-year-old Ward, also of Kissimmee, was last seen wearing a brown-striped hooded shirt and he has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm, stated the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

It is believed they were traveling in a 2012 silver Infiniti G37, with the Florida license plate: HRD-J20.
