The Seminole County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Orange County Sheriff's Office at about 1:30 p.m. regarding a stolen vehicle from an area near the Circle K at 7530 Forest City Road. The location is near the Orange-Seminole border.

Seminole County deputies spotted the vehicle along I-4 near State Road 436. The driver was driving recklessly, deputies said.

Deputies deployed stop sticks when they determined the driver likely wasn't going to stop. The vehicle's tires were deflated, and the driver refused to get out of the vehicle.

Deputies then removed the driver. The person sustained an unidentified injury, but it wasn't related to a gunshot, deputies said.

No shots were fired.

The driver was taken to a hospital, where he will be treated and then taken to the Seminole County Jail.

The man is facing multiple charges, including a stolen vehicle and fleeing and eluding.
