Several Pulse survivors say it's too soon to air a reenactment of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

  • Univision is airing 'Baño de Sangre'
  • The show will depict the Pulse Nightclub terrorist attack
  • Survivors say that it's too soon, and too insensitive

On Saturday, survivors, their friends and their families came together in Kissimmee to speak out about the show 'Baño de Sangre' that is airing on the Latin channel, Univision.

Kaliesha Andino, who was shot during the June 12 nightclub attack that killed 49 people, says it's simply too soon.

"It's only been 8 months, we're still suffering and having someone act like us is horrible, no survivors are ready to see that," said Andino.

Orlando Torres says he is one of the survivors featured in the show that aired Saturday night that he says reenacts scenes based on their stories from the Pulse tragedy.

"They’re calling it the blood bath," said Torres, "and it's a very insensitive title because in Spanish its Baño de Sangre which is the bath and, of course, I was in the restroom and there was a lot of shooting, tragic loss in the bathroom, blood all over the place in the restroom."

Jose Diaz, also a Pulse survivor, says people haven't recovered.

"I'm very upset for me, very strong because you're seeing what happened again and again and again and I saw a little trailer on the TV so it had a very bad impact for me," said Diaz.

Officials for the show put out a statement on Twitter on Thursday saying, "Univision has set out to create a report that is deeply respectful of the many people whose lives were impacted by this tragedy and, at the same time, is faithful to the facts underlying this horrible crime."
