Those who use Old Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud will have to find an alternative route come Monday, as the Florida Department of Transportation will be closing it for four weeks.
The reason why Old Canoe Creek Road will be closed is that FDOT can make drainage improvements, which is supposed to start at 5 a.m., Monday, March 20.
Drivers will be directed to use Neptune Road and Commerce Center Drive.
It is part of a FDOT project to widen U.S. 192 from four to six lanes between Aeronautical Drive and Budinger Avenue in Osceola County.
