Rash of car break-ins at DeBary park; deputies search for woman

Volusia County deputies are searching for a woman they say is connected with a rash of car break-ins at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary.

• Someone stole purses, money, makeup, handgun
• Info used to try and cash stolen checks

Over a six-day span starting March 18, four vehicles at the park were broken into. Someone smashed the windows and stole purses, money, perfume, makeup, a cell phone and even a handgun.

Someone also used three of the victims' identifications to try and cash stolen checks. Deputies have gotten surveillance pictures from banks around the state of the suspect.
