Runners channeled The Force Sunday for the last day of the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World.

Samuel Souza Do Nascimento, 28, of Brazil, won the race with a time of 1:07:14. Nascimento also won the 5K and 10K on Friday and Saturday.

“Mission accomplished,” Nascimento said of winning all three races. “The thing that impressed me about this race is the overall energy of the run. Other races I have run in the past, there have been one or two people on the sideline cheering and here there is a whole different energy to it, which helped me perform at an entirely different level.”

Meanwhile, Sydney Devore, 25, of Lakeland was the first female finisher of the 13.1 mile race. She set a race record with a time of 1:20:15.
