One of the trams at Orlando International Airport malfunctioned Sunday, causing some passengers to miss their flights.

A tram that transports passengers to and from the main terminal to the gates broke down at 1:24 p.m., airport officials said.

The outage lasted less than an hour.

A total of 51 passengers missed their flights.

The airport said it's up to the individual airlines to decide whether to book passengers on later flights.

According to an airport spokesman, Sunday’s incident involved the same tram that experience mechanical issues Wednesday.
